Acoustic reunion show awesome; electric still to come

More on last night’s incredible acoustic set when we have a chance! Let’s just say it was a little more raw than ’96, but the band dug far deeper into its repertoire than usual: My Man Joe, Better, Barely, even Garbage Man! They stayed acoustic all night (though Brian was not on the stand-up bass), and ended the set with Mailbox around 1. Lots of great ol’ familiar faces in the crowd. Setlist, pictures and more, soon!

For now, we’ll leave you with this: Soulhat will be performing on Eklektikos with John Aielli on KUT-FM (90.5 Austin) at noon, today. Please tune-in and catch them if you’re in town. And be sure and head down to Antone’s tonight. Doors at 9:30, show at 10 with an opener. There was some space last night, but tonight will most likely be a blowout, so get there early if you don’t have a ticket!
