New McKinney solo effort out this week
It’s RELEASE WEEK for Kevin McKinney’s new CD Talking To Plants. Celebrate the release with us in Austin THIS Wednesday (9/24) at Stubb’s. The event begins at 9:30 pm (time adjusted) with Handsome Charlie at 11.
If you’re within range of Austin, and you have access to a radio, then you are in luck. You can hear Kevin and/or Friends all over the dial, this week: all in the privacy of your very own car, shower or bed!
Three excellent local stations… three excellent chances to hear Kevin play some of the new music from Talking To Plants before heading out to the Release Party on Wednesday night.
The CD will be available Tuesday 9/23 via CD Baby & all over Austin, including: Jupiter Records (1000 E 41st St), Waterloo Records (6th & Lamar), Cheapo Discs (10th & Lamar), Tower Records (2402 Guadalupe), Encore Music and Video (8820 Burnet Rd), Borders (2 Austin locations), CD Warehouse (3 Austin locations) and 33 Degrees (4017 Guadalupe).
Amended on 9/25: Apparently, cdbaby.com does not have the new CD in stock just yet, so we’ve been informed you can head over to Chocolate Records and pick up your internet copy over there.
