John Popper joins band for one night

Congratulations to those of you who braved the humidity to make it out to the Saxon Pub last night. You were rewarded with John Popper, who sat in with Kevin all night. We assume he’s staying in town for SXSW & for his gig here with the Blues Traveler band (3/21). Kevin’s next gig is tonight at Flipnotics Coffeespace, so we hope to see a full room, tonight (and not just ’cause you think Popper might show up…the coffee is also damn good).

In album news, Kevin wants folks to know that he’ll have a solo effort out on SHAT Records very soon. No word on a release date, but we’ll keep you informed.
