I saw Frosty in the early 1970’s at the Hollywood Bowl in concert with Black Sabbath,Iron Butterfly and Lee Michaels. I am a drummer and was there specifically to see Frosty/Barry. His solo is still up there with Bohnam (who listed Frosty as one of his favorite drummers and where he likely got the idea for the bare handed drum playing). Frosty was awesome and is one of the all time great drummers in my humble opinion.

Lee and Frosty did play on the Iron Butterfly bill, with John Mayall (The Turning Point band) in ’69. No Sabbath, though.
