•building local business and music scene by cultivating a new generation of talent and the professionals behind them
•bringing more opportunity to special populations and disadvantaged kids by offering inclusion and bridging the gap with social mobility
•continuing the cycle of “playing” it forward in your community

Band Aid School of Music (BASOM) has been providing the best in music instruction, rock band programs/camps, and hands-on music performance, songwriting, production, business and recording opportunities in Austin since 2009. A local and national award-winning school, BASOM serves over 250 students and is equipped with 20 instructors between two locations. Due to its success and rapid growth, construction is under way for the expansion of the Thornton Road location. As a local, family-owned business that has been more than generous in serving the Austin community by providing over $2000 in scholarships every month and raising over $20,000 in funds for local charities, the time has come to ask for support in continuing their great work.

The Music Moves Mountains Foundation (MMMF) is a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization offering a series of projects, programs, and services utilizing the scientifically-proven powers of music to change and improve the quality of lives. As part of their All Abilities Rock program and the Play It Forward initiative, MMMF joins in BASOM’s efforts to raise funds for scholarships for disadvantaged children, special needs adaptive/inclusive training for music instructors, additional music equipment and gear, and for music therapy workshops.
