What’s new in the world of Soulhat for 2002

Austin locals will be happy to know that Kevin McKinney continues to do his weekly ‘solo’ gigs at Flipnotics Coffeespace on Barton Springs Rd (Weds., 8 pm), usually opening for the later act. Johnny V. usually makes an appearance on stand-up bass. Kevin’s also been selling t-shirts at recent shows, so pick one up if you go.

In other news, the live recording in Houston at the Satellite Lounge is back on for February 10 & 11. So, Houston fans, here’s your chance to be on Soulhat’s first official live recording since “Live at the Black Cat.” Don’t pass up that opportunity!
