Soulhat to perform at Batfest

Soulhat will perform on Saturday, August 21st 2010 at the 6th Annual Batfest on the Congress Ave. Ann Richards Bridge. Batfest!, Will feature Arts, Crafts, Music, Food, Bat Watching, Children’s Activities, and Educational Displays. Estimated attendance is around 40,000! With Scenic backdrop of Town Lake and downtown Austin. Come out and see between 1.5 and 2 million Mexican Free Tail Bats while shopping for creative items made in Austin. See over 20 bands on two stages. Soulhat performs at 8pm on the North Stage. For more information, go here.

Kevin to open for Fever in Houston

Kevin McKinney will open for Fever In The Funkhouse when they pay a visit to Houston’s Last Concert Cafe (1403 Nance St, Houston, 713/ 226-8563) on Friday, August 27, 2010. Doors at 8pm, show at 10pm. 21 & Up

Kevin performing at Continental Club, Houston

You can see Kevin McKinney opening up the night for The Small Sounds on Friday, July 30th at the Continental Club in Houston. Kevin starts at 10pm and the main act starts around 11:30. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

Soulhat helps celebrate Antone’s 35th

Just announced: Soulhat will perform at Antone’s (213 W 5th St, Austin) on July 24, helping to celebrate Antone’s 35th anniversary during July – along with artists like Storyville, Texas Tornadoes, Arc Angels, Marcia Ball, Sister 7, Bob Schneider, Guy Forsyth, Reckless Kelly, and many more. Doors at 9, show at 10. No opening act announced yet, but there will most likely be one before too long.
